I decided to start this group because, while there are several Dutch film lovers meetup groups, there aren't any in Utrecht. The purpose of the meetup is to enjoy films of pretty much any sort in a group setting, with perhaps a focus on more independent forms of cinema. Initially I think it would be good to meet at local theaters, but hopefully eventually, once a little society has formed we could enjoy dinner/movie nights at someones place.
